What stays and what needs to go?

We clear rooms, remove furniture and carry out the agreed carrying and loading work. For a household clear-out, we first establish which items are involved and what must stay. The amount and access determine the plan.

Possible disposal depends on the materials and proposed disposal route. We check these first and agree the work and costs with you. A broom-clean handover is included only if explicitly agreed; we do not currently offer a full cleaning service.

  • The address, or town and postcode, of the property
  • The rooms, furniture, items and materials involved

  • Items that must stay or be set aside separately
  • Floor, lift, access and the route to the vehicle
  • Preferred date and scope, including any disposal arrangements requested

Mark what should stay before the job begins. Attach photos of the items and access in WhatsApp. People and private documents do not need to appear in the photos.

How is your quote prepared?

The amount, size, carrying distances, floors and access affect the work involved. We check any requested disposal against the materials and proposed disposal route. Once these questions are resolved, we agree the work and fixed price.

Questions about this service

Can I ask for just a few pieces of furniture to be taken away?

Yes, you can enquire about a limited furniture removal. Include the items, dimensions and access. If furniture needs delivering to another address, our furniture transport page explains what to prepare.

Is disposal automatically included?

Only if agreed beforehand. Send photos and tell us which materials are involved. We check the disposal route and include the agreed work and costs in your quote.

What does a broom-clean handover mean for my enquiry?

Mention it explicitly if you need it. It forms part of the job only if agreed beforehand. It does not mean that a full property cleaning service is included.

Does the furniture need to be dismantled first?

Send dimensions and photos of the furniture, along with access details. We discuss whether dismantling is needed and what work we can do.
